Theachers Are Held More Accountable

I love teaching the Bible.

Actually I love teaching anything.
I think I have a teacher’s mentality.
If I know something, I just can’t wait to share. I want you to know it too.
But this is a Big Responsibility. God holds Teachers more accountable.

According to Ezra 7:10 they are accountable in four ways.
They are to devote their hearts for obedient service.
They are to study the meaning of God’s Word.
They are to obey what they discover
They are to teach what they have learned.
For the most part, true Bible teaching is the overflow of one obedient life into the life of another.

Teachers need to be able to share of their own life and to relate to the lives of those they teach.
also to teach on a level that is easily understood.
If teachers are always teaching over people’s head, they will not be able to reach them.

All Christians, not just teachers need to watch what they do.
Not doing anything that weakens or kills their testimony or in any way leads other Christians astray.

· But if anyone causes one of these little ones who trusts in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck. - Matthew 18:6
· "But if anyone causes one of these little ones who trusts in me to lose faith, it would be better for that person to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck. - Mark 9:42
· It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones. - Luke 17:2

As Christians, we must always be aware that the world is watching us
And ACT accordingly.

Have You Died For Him Yet?

Christ Suffered and Died For US.
How can we NOT expect to suffer for HIM?

I am in First Peter now.
2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
{Christ suffered beatings and the Cross for Us. He did Not have to do this. He chose to do it, In order to do the will of His Father and to Grant, for Us, Salvation. He paid the Price for our sins.
Romans. The wages of Sin is Death. Taking our Sin upon Himself, He who knew NO Sin, was probably the hardest thing}
Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
{By the Grace of God, Our Sin Debt was Pain In Full.}
2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
{We deserve to be punished for our own sins. But Christ had No Sin to be punished for. He was punished and put to death for our sins.}
2:21 For even here unto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed
2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
{I am sometimes amazed when People start telling me what all THEY have done for the Lord.
Sometimes they will recite all that they feel the Lord has asked them to give up. And then go into great detail how they complied, In order to sacrifice to the Lord.
I am reminded of the verse that says …It is better to obey than to sacrifice.}
And then Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me
{One of my all time favorites}

I want to ask these people…….
Have you DIED for Him yet.
Have you DIED To Him yet?

NOTHING we can ever do for Christ can equal what He has done for Us.

If Christ Never does another thing for Me..
His Death, for me, on the cross, is more than enough.
